PTFE is a specialized engineering plastic which has excellent nonstick properties. It has a surface to which no substance will adhere. PTFE is not affected by almost all chemicals and solvents and has outstanding dielectric properties, making PTFE sheets the ideal engineering plastic for electrical and thermal insulators, seals, glide rings, etc. PTFE also has excellent UV resistance and is capable of continuous use at 260 degrees C. PTFE sheets are available in a variety of thicknesses from 0.5mm to 100mm.
