Papermaking Lubricant

I. Introduction

This product is new aqueous macromolecule dispersant composite of modified macromolecule polyethylene and several additives with good compatibility with most of coating additives such as latex, PP pigment, dye, flourescent brightener on the present market.

III. Function

Used for papermaking coating, this product has obvious lubrication effect and can improve the usability effectively and also the nature of paper coatings.

(1) This product has lubrication action. It can improve the mobility and leveling property of coatings and make coatings smooth and flat.

(2)This product can prevent the coating’s chap after drying, thus improving the appearance quality and printing performance which shows up as obvious improvement of paper’s smoothness, glossiness, surface strength and printability;

(3) This product can reduce the wear of equipment such as coating knife and scudding knife effectively.

(4) Used in supercalender and the process of cutting and printing, this product can prevent power and fur falling, thus get high-standard and high-quality paper.

(5) This product is colorless transparent liquid. When used, it does not affect the paper’s brightness.

IV. Method of Application and Notes

The usual dosage of this product in paper coating is usually 0.2-1.0 % (calculated under the condition of pigment’s absolute dry). It can be used directly without preprocessing and added into mixing tank before adding latex in the process of preparation.

5. Packaging and Storage

(1) This product is packed in 200L and 1000L plastic barrel or according to user’s requirement. It should pay attention to the insulation in transportation.

(2) This product should be stored in the original container or the clean and closed containers of stainless steel, plastic, plastic-lined iron and other materials in order to prevent the water evaporation affecting the usage.

(3) This product should be stored in the environment of 5-30℃ and the storage life is 6 months.
